When booking any tour with us, we will ask you to fill out a Tour Registration Form, the signing of which acknowledges that you have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions listed for travelling with SAIGA Tours, on behalf of yourself and any dependents, and that you understand SAIGA Tours' refund policy.
Travel Agreement
The following information concerns the liability of Saiga Tours and responsibility of the customer.
The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Saiga Tours. The term “you” and “your” refers to the customer.
Booking Policy
A 30% deposit is required to secure your position on tour. The remaining balance is to be paid in USD cash to Saiga Tours at the beginning of the tour. This policy is subject to change depending on the tour and individual communication between us and you.
Deposit Payment Procedure
We have several options of how we can accept the deposit, and these options will be given to you. You will then be given the details of whichever option you choose to use. You are responsible for any fees that are incurred at any point during the process, including those attributed to financial institutions involved in the process of sending and receiving money. We will count the amount that is deposited in our account as the payment amount, either in USD, or converted into USD if you use a payment method that is in a different currency. Your invoice will be updated to show how much has been received as a deposit, and if it is not exactly 30% your cash balance will be adjusted.
If extra services are added after the deposit is paid, you will have the choice to either make a further deposit or bring the remainder in cash. However, if you choose to make a further deposit, you must ensure that at least 70% of your total payment will be brought in USD cash.
Cancellation Policy
Customers are entitled to full refunds on any deposits that they have paid for on all tours if they choose to cancel. This is subject to the following stipulations:
- The customer is liable for any transaction charges associated with the refund process (on top of any fees that have been paid in the initial payment process).
- In the event of the company incurring any non-refundable costs and expenses, including, but not limited to, flight bookings and hotel reservations, this shall be deducted from any refund due to the customer.
- If circumstances force you to leave the tour early, you will bear responsibility of additional costs.
Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel your tour. However, we will not do so unless we are forced to due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, civil/political unrest, or “force majeure”.
We are not liable to you in any circumstances for loss or damage, or loss of your holiday, when unusual or unforeseen circumstances arise, which are beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even when all due care was taken. We are not liable to pay you any additional amount associated with travel costs, expenses, or losses which you accrue as a result of any change or cancellation by us, such as changes to times of connecting flights or other travel arrangements. You agree that all these provisions are reasonable.
Non-liability for Changes
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and will notify customers if such changes are made.
Prices are subject to change without notice and will not be binding until a booking has been confirmed.
We reserve the right to change or amend all itineraries on a case-by-case basis depending on the events at the destination of the tour. In such case we will provide a suitable replacement.
Due to the nature of travel undertaken by Saiga Tours, itineraries do not reflect the exact guaranteed plan of the tour. We will make every effort to keep itineraries as they are written and will find suitable replacements if changes must be made. We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances.
Passports and Visas
It is your responsibility to secure a visa if required for your tour destination unless otherwise stated as a part of the tour, for example Syria and Turkmenistan. We will provide supporting documentation to help with applications, however we do not work directly with embassies or consulates to secure your visa.
In the case where we provide visas, if the information that has been given is accurate and the visa is refused, we will provide a full refund minus any associated transaction fees. In addition, we will not be held responsible for the costs associated with travel to the location from which the tour was scheduled to depart.
Our advice should be taken as guidance, and you should ensure you are aware of all the necessary requirements from the relevant embassy of the country you are intending to visit.
Vaccinations, passports, and visas are entirely your responsibility and must be arranged prior to your trip. We will not be held responsible for cancellation of your trip in the event that you are denied boarding, or any other related outcome, and can’t continue your tour.
Travel Insurance
Saiga Tours disclaims any liability in whole or part for customers’ damages, emotional distress, personal injury, psychological injury, sickness, medical expenses, or property damages occurred on tour.
It is your responsibility to obtain travel insurance prior to departure if you choose to, which in the event of any possible risk, will cover for the customer and any applicable dependents he or she is travelling with. It is your responsibility to ensure that your travel insurance coverage includes but is not limited to injury or sudden illness while on tour, 24-hour emergency service and assistance (including repatriation if you become too ill to continue the tour), cancellation and curtailment, lost and stolen possessions cover, and personal liability cover.
