Since 2014 a bloody civil war has taken place throughout the county, however the end of conflict seems to be just on the horizon, with peace talks between the Houthis and Saudis becoming more and more common. While the western part of the country where Sana’a the capital is, is still considered too dangerous for travellers, the eastern part bordering Oman is now ok for travel and has so much to offer!

Yemen contains amazing elements of both Arabia and Africa and has some amazing architectural, geological and historical sites to explore. On top of this Yemen’s food is some of the best in the region. As the country stabilises, we see a bright future for Yemen and hope that more and more of the country becomes available to visit.

If our group tour dates don't work for you, we also organise customised independent tours to Yemen, so why not get in touch!

The Real Yemen Tour
Yes, that's right, this tour isn't Socotra - this is the real Yemen. Starting and ending in Seiyun, we'll be flying to and from Cairo to embark on this pretty epic roadtrip through one of the trickiest countries to travel in.
