Since the NATO-backed revolution in 2011 and the toppling of dictator Muamar Ghaddafi, Libya has been in a state of civil war. Although parts of the country remain unstable, the war seems to have mostly finished, and Libya is getting ready to open up to the world. The country still remains split between east and west, however progress is being made every day towards a more stable Libya.

This is your chance now to see some of the world’s best preserved ancient Roman sites such as Leptis Magna and Sabratha, coupled with striking desert landscapes and amazing Italian colonial architecture!
