The visa for Cameroon is now much easier than it previously was after the introduction of the e-visa. However, that doesn’t mean it is completely straight forward.
You will need to apply through their online portal which you can access here .
You will need to have a letter of invitation from someone on the ground which you will need to upload to the e-visa website. We can of course help with this if you’re booking a tour with us. You can also ask local visa agents to apply for you, however this can be very expensive.
Once you receive your e-visa form you will then show this on arrival in the country and they will stick the visa into your passport. Online the information says that if you have a Cameroon consulate in your country then you can do it there, but getting it at the airport is an option for everyone as long as you have the correct paperwork, so we'd generally recommend just doing that and save a trip to an embassy.
You pay for the visa online, and don't have anything to pay at the airport when you arrive.
