TOUR OVERVIEW
Since the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan in August 2021, we haven’t been running tours to the country. After the requests of ordinary local people and assessment of the security risks, we have decided to resume taking guests to this amazing country.
After exploring Kabul, we'll head north to the exciting northern centre of Mazar-i-Sharif, from where we'll base ourselves to visit Balkh and Samangan.
Then we head to the natural wonder that is Bamiyan, the capital of Hazarajat and the site of the formerly largest Buddhist statues in the world. You're in for a treat with the crystal clear waters of Band-e-Amir before heading back to Kabul to finish off where it all started.
